Vision for Adopted Crops & Soils (VACS)
The Conservation Farming Unit is spearheading an innovative program aimed at ensuring availability and access to improved and high-quality seeds of cowpea varieties, which is a challenge among the farming community.

Accelerated Innovation Delivery Initiative (AID-I)
CFU signed a Sub-Grant on 13th December 2023 with the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre (CIMMYT) to implement the Accelerated Innovation Delivery Initiative (AID-I) in January 2024.

Strengthening Local Partner Capacity for Effective Biodiversity & Poverty Interventions
The Conservation Farming initiative, supported by Action Against Hunger through the Darwin Initiative, targeted 3,000 farmers in the Zimba, Livingstone, and Kazungula districts.

Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme
The Conservation Farming Unit (CFU) has launched a project aimed at enhancing the capacity of women and youth in climate-resilient agriculture and agroforestry in Situmbeko village, Kabile Ward, Chibombo District, Central Province.

The Conservation Farming Unit (CFU) has over 28 years of experience in promoting Conservation Farming (CF) practices in Zambia, focusing on small and medium-scale farmers.
